Hey Guys!
I know I promised more frequent updates and per the ussh (sp?) I have not delivered. I apologize. I just wanted to write a quick post and let you know I sent out my prayer letters today. Please be praying, and if you would like me to mail you my letter just email me your address or post it in the comments.
I also wanted to do a quick book plug. If you have not read God's Smuggler by Brother Andrew then drive yourself to the nearest bookstore or log onto your amazon account and get your self a copy! This book has been a huuuuuge encouragement to my faith! If you ever find yourself doubting God or lacking trust and faith...read this book! We worship an incomprehensibly awesome, all powerful, all knowing God!
God used it encourage me in a big way last week. I was feeling completely overwhelmed with support raising, more anxious than I have ever been. I read this book in like an hour ( it's short and it's THAT good!) after reading it I felt this overwhelming peace, that whether or not God brings in the support by my deadline, He is still sovereign, still in control, still working for my good. Don't you just love God?!
Familiar but fabulous text in Matthew 6:25-34 on anxiety and our heavenly Father's provision for us!
That's all for now!

Official!
Okay....! Madagscar update!
I am now officially official! On June 11th I will fly out to AIM's base of operation in Peachtree, Georgia for two days of orientation, and then (drum roll please!) on June 13th I will depart for Madagascar! With a planned return date of June 5th 2013.
As far as housing goes, one of the AIM missionaries there has very kindly offered to let me stay with her until I acclimate to my new home and culture. And then I will move in with a local Malagasy family for the remainder of my time there! So so excited! What an awesome opportunity!
In the next few days they will be working out my individual budget, once that is in place I will begin raising support. I confess this is more than a little scary for me, but I am sure this is going to be an awesome time of learning to trust in God more fully and to rely completely on Him.
If any of you have any good fund raising ideas I would love to hear them!! Leave a comment. :)
